Director Jos de Blok was in India for the signing of the contract for Buurtzorg India. buurtzorg and Edugreen, an Indian organization that specializes in the selection, recruitment and training of nurses did a pilot in 2017. Two teams of nurses were active in Calcutta, the capital of the province of Bengal. They have experimented with self-management according to the concept of Buurtzorg. Among other things, she wrote the book Organizational Innovation by Integrating Simplification, Learning from Neighborhood Care, published by Printer Springer.
