Fitness Assessment:

A fitness assessment is a review of your medical history, goals and a series of measurements, which together establish your baseline fitness level.  This helps guide the development of your individualized exercise prescription.

A fitness assessment measures various aspects of your fitness, including:

  • Muscular strength and endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Cardiovascular endurance
  • Body composition

Exercise Prescription:

An exercise prescription is a custom-designed exercise program developed specifically to help you meet your fitness goals.  Our fitness and fitness specialists evaluate the information obtained through your assessment to select various exercises and activities tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.

Body Age Assessment:

A body age assessment is a comprehensive battery of tests that help determine your level of fitness, which is reported as your “body age.”  Some or all of the following tests are used to calculate body age:

  • Cardiovascular endurance
  • Muscular strength and endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Lifestyle habits
  • Body composition

A body age assessment can also include lab results from a lipid profile and glucose panel.

These measures provide an extensive assessment of overall health.  The better you score in the selected testing categories, the lower your body age.  The lower your body age, the more fit you are.
